What makes our Sycamore Gap coaster special?

Our coaster compliments our hanging decoration design which features the iconic image of Sycamore Gap at Hadrian’s Wall.   We designed this gift a few years ago, before the beloved tree was felled – our design focused on the image of Sycamore Gap, set against the dark skies Northumberland is famed for, with a backdrop of the Northern lights – all wrapped up and printed onto a square coaster with a choice of words. Our original design featured the wording; ‘Northumberland – Our Happy Place’.   Despite the disappointment of what has happened, it doesn’t take away the positive memories so many have and we’ll continue to honour our beautiful Northumberland and North East region and it still remains ‘Our happy place’ but we have also added choice of wording to be ‘Forever Sycamore Gap’ 

Our coaster would make a lovely gift as a reminder of this special place or send to friends or family who have experienced Northumberland and found it to be their Happy Place.

All our decorations and ornaments are hand pressed from our studio in Northumberland and are handmade so there may be slight difference in colour due to the printing and pressing process.

The square coaster is made from mdf, has a glossy finish, a cork base and measures roughly 9cm x 9cm.  Coasters are sold singly.
